On Thanksgiving Day, a 24/7 manufacturing facility experienced a malfunction in one of their machines. This lead to a fire, which activated the sprinkler system. The facility was left with a burned-out roof, massive smoke damage, and several inches of standing water on both the production floor and in the basement. Because of the nature of the product, the company could not lose valuable time closing their doors, and needed a restoration company that could get them operational quickly and without issue.

Solutions provided:

American Restoration's emergency response team arrived on-site on the same day as the loss. Our crew started by extracting water - a process that lasted into the early morning hours of the following day. Once the water was extracted, another crew delivered fans, generators, and dehumidifers to begin drying out the facility. At the same time, the board-up team tarped and secured the roof until it was ready to be repaired. Once the property was dried and secured, our team began cleaning smoke and soot from the walls and ceilings of the production floor. This involved using specialized cleaners, scissors lifts, and a very sharp eye for detail.
